When building a business, it’s vital to pay close attention to the face of your brand: your logo. It plays  foundational role in the creation of a strong marketing strategy. So if you’re just starting and you think a logo isn’t a top priority, you might want to think twice! Here’s why.

Logos-Examples

They say a picture can speak a thousand words, right? We agree!

Research suggests that the average person is exposed to more than 5,000 brand messages per day. Through all of this information, big brands’ logos are recognizable around the world. We’ve got Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Starbucks and Google, and many more.

The need to have a unique visual identity cannot be overemphasized. The logo is the face of your business. It reveals your identity, distinguishes you from the competition, facilitates brand loyalty and triggers a positive recall.

It should make a strong impression, and it should be memorable. Your customers should be able to immediately associate your logo to your brand, the value it brings and what it stands for. That’s why it’s the foundation of your brand identity.

Logos are a point of identification; they’re the symbol that customers use to recognize your brand. Ideally, you’ll want people to instantly connect the sight of your logo with the memory of what your company does – and, more importantly, how it makes them feel.”

Think about it as telling a story. That’s the key to successful branding. The logo will serve as the foundation of the narrative around which your brand is built. Think about the colors, tones and fonts of the story you’re trying to tell, and the result will be your logo and other branding materials, such as business cards, landing pages, etc.

This is another platform that lets you build a stunning logo for your business and download it for a fair price. If you like having a lot of choices, this is the place to go to.

DesignHill is also straightforward and easy to use. Pick your five favorite design styles, and the system will generate several templates. Then, edit and customize it as you wish. But there’s more to it than meets the eye. DesignHill promotes design contests.

This feature allows clients to submit a design request to the platform, and then receive proposals from multiple designers before making a decision. You have a higher chance of getting the right logo design. You can also get human interaction by connecting to designers, asking questions and then hiring an individual designer directly.

On the basic plan, contests only run for five days. After that, the actual delivery timeline for the logo is between you and the selected designer.

💰 For a first-timer, a one-time fee of $20 will be charged for a basic resolution logo file. To get the high-resolution file, you will have to pay $65. There is an enterprise-level package with more add-ons that is available for $150.

The Final Word

These are the five logo makers that we selected for you. They’re each unique in their own ways, offering different features for their users. It’s up to you to decide which one suits your creative process best.

Also, it’s imperative to know what kind of logo you want before going in, or else this can be overwhelming. So, figure out if you want something simple, but tweaked to your business, or something modern to match your niche market. Here are some things to keep in mind:

💡 We suggest having a look at what the competitors in your market are doing. What do their logos look like? What’s missing and how can you do better? Then, inspire yourself from the templates and later try coming up with your version from zero.

💡 Remember you can edit your logos or change styles. If it becomes too overwhelming to pick one, we suggest you choose 3 to 5 options and test them out around you. Ask your partner, your kid or your friends what they think. Then proceed with the elimination process until you reach the one.

💡 Visualize how the logo can be used on different platforms, digital and offline. How will it look on your Facebook cover page, on your Instagram’s profile picture, or a business card? You should be able to use your logo to work your identity and attract customers.

Enjoy the journey creating your logo; remember it should be the face of your business! It’s essential for you to like it and for it to represent your brand’s values. That’s it! You’re ready to start creating!
